“Camp is important for these kids because a lot of them go through hardships they shouldn’t have to go through as kids. I know when I was younger and going through those hardships, I felt like I had no one. But when I was at camp, I felt like I was being cared for, like I had somebody to talk to. And I think that’s very important. Because these campers deserve to have fun and deserve to have somebody comfort them.”
